Preliminary Statistics on Social Assistance

Preliminary statistics on social assistance are compiled based on data collected once a year from municipalities on social assistance recipients. The preliminary statistics only provide information on the number of recipient households and the costs of assistance. Preliminary statistics have been compiled since 1992. However, comparable time series data are available from 1969 onwards.
