STAKES regularly issues a comprehensive publication on private social and health services. The publication contains key statistical information on the social and health services provided by business enterprises and non-profit organisations.  It describes the proportion accounted for by private service providers in the total provision of social and health services, and the volume of private provision.  In addition to aggregate information on the private sector, information is given on the shares of organisations and enterprises, and their characteristics as service providers are described.  Further, money flows in private service provision are described: who purchase services from the providers, what subsidies and support the providers receive and how the purchases of private services are reimbursed.

The book is in Finnish with the abstract, table of contents, titles and tables in English and Swedish.
