Fees for information services
Loans and photocopies
Loans from the library's own collections are free of charge when
the borrower picks up the items from the library.
The following fees are applicable to interlibrary loans from the
library's own collections:

Penalty fees for overdue loans: €17 is charged for each item
returned 2 to 3 months overdue.
Self-service photocopies made in the library: €0.20.

THL adheres to the provisions of the Copyright Act and Decree in
the delivery of photocopies and other reproduced materials.
Information searches and consultancy
Information searches from the library's own databases and other
information resources: €75 per hour. Minimum time to be charged:
half an hour.
Online information retrievals and literature searches are
charged according to the costs of database use and the staff time
required. Minimum staff time to be charged: half an hour.
Fees charged for continuous monitoring of literature in
databases are determined by the choice of databases and the staff
time required.
General guidance in the use of information resources to outside
customers: €55 per hour
Other training and consultancy to outside customers is charged
by hour according to fixed service fees.
All fees are inclusive of VAT.
All fees are valid from February the 1st
