The National Institute for Health and Welfare (THL) created through the merger of the National Public Health Institute (KTL) and the National Research and Development Centre for Welfare and Health (STAKES) will commence operating at the start of 2009. See below for THL's contact details as of January 1st, 2009.
KTL telephone numbers will switch over to the THL countrywide numbering system on December 15th, 2008. STAKES telephone numbers will follow on January 12th, 2009, the old numbers will remain in service until that date. A listing of THL direct extensions will be available on the Institute's website www.thl.fi from the beginning of 2009.
