STAKES conducts research on living conditions and welfare deficits among the population. Our areas of interest include deprivation and factors contributing to inequalities. We also look for ways to reduce poverty, exclusion and inequality. In addition, we explore the impact of decisions on people and their living conditions, and develop methods for impact assessment.
